Today I felt like getting in a quick strength and conditioning workout. Good thing I took my trusty 24Kg kettlebell with me on holidays. This is a whole body workout that will build strength and muscle, and burn off fat. It is broken into 2 parts
The first part of the workout is more strength based and done at a slower pace. This is 5 sets of 5 thrusters each side.
The second part of the workout is a faster paced circuit. The circuit is:
10 kettlebell swings, 10 Goblet Squats, 10 pushups
(each round you decrease the squats and pushups by 1, but always do 10 swings)
10 swings, 9 goblet squats, 9 pushups
.... continue until you get to
10 swings, 1 goblet squat, 1 pushup
take as little rest as possible between each rounds. This circuit will get the heart rate up and the lungs pumping!
Use a weight that allows you to do perfect form on each set, but is also challenging.
