If you are disciplined with your time, it will free up more time. If you can get up early in the morning and get your work done, it gives you more hours later in the day to do as you please. But if you get up and watch some rubbish on TV for awhile, spend an hour checking Facebook, then watching people fall over on YouTube, you will realise the morning is gone and you still haven't accomplished anything or actually done anything you really enjoy doing.
Think of the freedom you can have later in life if you have the disciplne now to eat healthy, exercise and look after your body. This can mean the difference between being able to do basic tasks like get off the toilet by yourself or maintain your hygiene by yourself. Not having to rely on others to do this for you will ensure you a lot more freedom.
